Metal Exchange LLC allegedly shared copyrighted market reports without consent, in violation of a subscriber agreement, Harbor Aluminum Intelligence Unit LLC said in an infringement suit.
Metal Exchange allegedly breached its subscription agreement and infringed Harbor’s copyrights when it “improperly distributed one or more” of Harbor’s market intelligence reports to third parties and unauthorized users within its organization, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
