Meta Wins Pause to Minimum $206 Million Infringement Verdict

Meta Platforms Inc, the parent company of Facebook, has won a stay of an at least $206.2 million judgment as it appeals a jury verdict that it infringed the patent of Voxer Inc.

The judgment includes $5.1 million of prejudgment interest, lower than what Voxer proposed, but Judge David A. Ezra on Monday also awarded $26.7 million in supplemental damages, and a 4.87% compounded interest rate on all damages until the amount is paid.
