Meta Sued by Man Ousted After Internal Bullying Investigation

Meta Platforms, Inc. is facing allegations of discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and other workplace bias claims from former employee Timothy E. Leahy, according to a new lawsuit in federal court.

Leahy, who was director of Enterprise Environmental Health and Safety Services at Meta, says he was wrongfully terminated on April 18, 2024, after an internal investigation concluded he had bullied and harassed females in the workplace.

The complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, says Leahy began working at Meta in 2017.
