Meta Hit With Another VR Technology Patent Infringement Suit

Meta Platforms Inc. is facing new claims its virtual reality systems infringe another company’s patents.

Mullen Industries LLC filed a lawsuit Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas alleging infringement of eleven patents covering augmented and virtual reality technology, through the creation and sale of Meta’s Quest headset and other Meta virtual reality software.
