Meta Beats Lawsuit Claiming it Blacklisted OnlyFans Competitors

Meta Platforms Inc. escaped a lawsuit on Monday from adult performers who allege the social media giant blacklisted and demoted their content because they used adult entertainment platforms that compete with OnlyFans.

Judge William A. Alsup ruled that the performers failed to show Meta had interfered with their contracts or violated unfair competition law by allegedly adding them to Meta’s list of “dangerous individuals or organizations.”

That list is ordinarily used to identify terrorist content on Facebook and Instagram.
