A mechanic sued an Ohio automotive company for allegedly failing to pay him and other mechanics overtime wages.
Danny Dorman sued his former employer, Mytee Automotive, Inc., alleging the company failed to pay him and other mechanics overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Ohio law.
Dorman filed the class and collective action complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. The complaint alleges violations of the FLSA’s overtime provisions, which require covered employees to be paid time-and-a-half for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
