Toddler nutritional drink company Mead Johnson & Co. must face a class action lawsuit alleging two of its Enfagrow products unlawfully claimed certain health benefits on its labels.
Plaintiff Chelsea Garland adequately alleged the product’s labels contained implied nutrient content because they stated its listed nutrients are ‘helpful for health,’ violating Food and Drug Administration regulations, the US District Court for the Southern District of California found Thursday.
