McDonald’s Hit With Age Discrimination Lawsuit From Ex-Employee

A former McDonald’s USA LLC employee who worked at the company for more than 40 years is alleging he faced discrimination by his supervisor and was eventually fired due to his age.

The company discriminated against 72-year-old Paul Rice by subjecting him to different standards than his younger colleagues, according to a complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Rice, who worked in both the franchise and corporate sectors for McDonald’s, alleges that his supervisor started subjecting him to discriminatory treatment based on his age starting in 2022.
