The Eighth Circuit on Wednesday seemed to embrace the US government’s view that a lower court too quickly dismissed lawsuits by two Christian health-care workers fired after being denied exemptions from the Mayo Clinic‘s Covid-19 vaccination requirement.
At issue during oral argument in the consolidated appeal is whether a lower court misapplied controlling legal tests when it rejected five religious discrimination lawsuits against the world-renowned medical care provider and two related entities.
