Maybach Truck Driver Brings Class, Collective Action Over Wages

A truck driver employed by Maybach International Group LLC is bringing a proposed class and collective action against the transportation company for alleged violations of federal and Illinois employment and consumer protection laws.

Bernard Gray, a contractor, alleges Mayback misclassified him and other truck drivers as independent contractors when they were employees, and the company failed to pay them all of the wages they earned, according to his complaint filed Thursday with the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
