Maxeon Solar Investors Fall Short in Liquidity Deceit Lawsuit

Maxeon Solar Technologies Ltd. investors failed to adequately allege the solar panel maker misled them about a deteriorating business relationship, future revenue, and liquidity before a 40% stock drop, a federal court ruled.

Lead investor Jeyakumar Menon didn’t show that any of seven company statements he challenged were false, Judge Edward M. Chen said Monday for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. The investors will have a chance to re-plead the proposed class action.
