Max Mara Shakes Ex-Worker’s Claim Boss Called Her ‘Porn Star’

Clothing company Max Mara persuaded a federal court Friday to toss claims from an ex-employee who said her supervisor called her a porn star and shook his head near her chest.

Ex-Max Mara accountant Nicole Rios didn’t show that Max Mara or her former boss took any actions against her constituting discrimination or retaliation, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.

Rios also didn’t allege conduct severe enough to show a hostile workplace, Judge Loretta A. Preska said for the court.
