Online dating conglomerate Match Group Inc. said Tinder and Hinge users suing the company over their addictive designs must arbitrate any dispute because they accepted the apps’ terms of use.
Match Group told the US District Court for the Northern District of California that the plaintiffs agreed multiple times to resolve disputes through arbitration, and the terms of use say that any disagreement about whether a claim is subject to arbitration must be resolved by an arbitrator.
