Three master sommelier candidates on Thursday filed a renewed complaint against the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas, for an allegedly botched investigation into a cheating scandal involving the notoriously difficult test.
The three sommeliers’ second amended complaint alleges former Court of Master Sommeliers board members conducted a sham investigation into who shared answers to the tasting portion of the September 2018 exam. Candidates must pass all three components of the exam within three years in order to obtain the title.
