Mass Shooting False Conviction Case Advances on Conspiracy Claim

A Pennsylvania county must face a lawsuit from two people who say they were wrongfully accused of killing six others in a 2016 mass shooting.

Robert Thomas and Cheron Shelton say they were charged with committing the “Wilkinsburg Massacre” after significant community pressure despite clear exculpatory evidence, according to the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
