Maryland Nursing Facility Must Face Leg Amputee’s Job Bias Suit

A woman whose leg was amputated after an adverse reaction to Covid-19 vaccination can sue the skilled nursing facility where she formerly worked for disability discrimination, a Baltimore federal court ruled.

Shirley Dailey says the bias to which she was subjected after returning to work following the surgery included having her job changed multiple times from the full-time nurse position she thought she was coming back to, the US District Court for the District of Maryland said.
