A consumer alleging Mars Wrigley Confectionery US LLC misleads customers about Dove Dark Chocolate products’ supply chain failed to get her claims revived after a federal appeals court affirmed dismissal Monday.
Lori Myers alleged a label stating the products’ cocoa was from “Rainforest Alliance Certified farms” deceived her into thinking the chocolates were made without child slave labor or exacerbating rainforest deforestation.
