Major League Pickleball Inc. is being sued by its former marketing agency Riviera Sports Marketing LLC for $175,000.
The league, according to a lawsuit filed in a Manhattan trial court, promised to pay $350,000 when it terminated its marketing contract with Riviera Sports Marketing. Major League Pickleball paid its first installment of $175,000 on time last year, but has “failed and refused” to pay its second and final payment that was due Jan. 15, “despite multiple demands for payment,” Riviera says.
