Madison Square Garden Sued Over Oracle E-Business Suite Breach

A former Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. employee sued the company for failing to protect personal information of approximately 130,000 current and former employees that was exposed in a data breach targeting Oracle Corp.'s E-Business Suite software.

Angel Liranzo filed the proposed class action claiming the company violated federal trade laws and breached its duty to safeguard employee data, according to a complaint filed March 4 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The filing alleges hackers accessed the Oracle software in August 2025, stealing names and Social Security numbers of MSG employees.
