Louis Vuitton Can Force Ex-Worker to Arbitrate Wage, Bias Case

Louis Vuitton USA Inc. can require a Chinese-American woman formerly employed at one of its Beverly Hills stores to arbitrate allegations that the luxury retailer stiffed her on pay and racially discriminated against her, a judge said.

An arbitration agreement signed by the former employee, Barbara Guo, is enforceable despite her arguments claiming her signature on it was invalid and the agreement limited her legal rights, the US District Court for the Central District of California said Tuesday.
