LGBTQ+ Students Lose Religious Exemption to Title IX Lawsuit (1)

Forty LGBTQ+ current, former, and would-be students failed to explain how an exemption to Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments Act for religious colleges and universities violates First Amendment, equal protection, substantive due process, and other legal rights.

The ruling Thursday by the US District Court for the District of Oregon granted a win to the US Department of Education in the March 2021 proposed class action.
