Lewis Brisbois, Attorney Sued for Legal Malpractice, Duty Breach

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP is facing a legal malpractice suit alleging that one of its attorneys abandoned a bankruptcy case when he joined the firm.

Palm International Ltd., its president, Jeffrey Owen, and Rosa Barowski sued the firm and former attorney Sean Walsh, alleging Walsh committed legal malpractice and a breach of fiduciary duty by failing to respond to pleadings and communicate about their bankruptcy case’s proceedings.
