The tribe claims Lennar is responsible for design defects in 552 properties housing Seminole members across six Florida reservations. Its suit claims it found problems with 85% of the Lennar constructed homes, and Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Judge David M. Haimes ruled Monday the tribe can’t be compelled to arbitrate under the construction contracts.
