‘League of Legends’ Developer Loses Bid to Seal Sex Bias Deal

“League of Legends” developer Riot Games, Inc. lost its bid to seal payment information for a $100 million settlement with current and former women employees over sex discrimination, harassment, and equal pay claims, a California appeals court ruled.

The public’s right to see information related to civil cases outweighs the video game developer’s interest in confidentiality, Associate Justice Gail R.
