Plaintiffs’ attorneys want a $10 million fee for their work negotiating a class settlement that gives $25 Family Dollar gift cards to consumers who bought products at stores that were shut because of a rodent infestation at a warehouse.
The request is reasonable given the value of the settlement, the benefit to the class, and the risks involved in the litigation, the lawyers said Thursday in a filing to Judge Sheryl H. Lipman of the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
