Alabama’s high court revived an attorney’s tortious interference claim against another lawyer he says is liable for his resignation over a Facebook post about the death of George Floyd.
The Alabama Supreme Court reversed the grant of summary judgment in favor of Lawrence Tracy King and remanded Daniel Flickinger’s suit, it said in an opinion Friday. The lower court erred since there remain genuine issues of material fact as to both the causation element of Flickinger’s claim and King’s justification defense, Justice Chris McCool said in the opinion.
