A Wyoming attorney was suspended six months on Wednesday after the state’s high court accepted that she made misleading statements in connection with a divorce proceeding.
Katherine Osten was accused of failing in her duties of diligence and communication with respect to a client of her former firm, the Wyoming Children’s Law Center Inc. Osten allegedly made false entries of time spent working on the divorce proceeding, which was ultimately dismissed without the client’s knowledge.
