New rules on foreign-owned cryptomining facilities in Arkansas allegedly violate the US Constitution and discriminate against Chinese nationals and US citizens perceived to be Chinese, a federal court lawsuit asserts.
If enforcement of the rules aren’t stopped by a court order, the Arkansas Cryptomining Association alleges its members “will be harmed by unconstitutional and discriminatory industry-specific taxes and regulations,” according to a Thursday complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
