Nevada-based Paradise Law Firm is suing competitor Paradise Law Group, also Nevada-based, for trademark infringement, saying the similar names have caused actual confusion.
PLF filed a complaint Monday in the US District Court for the District of Nevada for trademark infringement under federal and state law, along with state law claims for unfair competition, and false designation of origin.
PLF was formed in 2020, while PLG was formed in 2024, according to the complaint. PLF says it owns a Nevada trademark registration for “Paradise Law” in connection with legal services, and owns the domain name ParadiseLaw.com.
