Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Helsinger LLP got a partial win in a lawsuit brought by its former client, pre-settlement funding company Signal Financial Holdings LLC, which sued the firm for allegedly helping a former executive start a competing company using lifted trade secrets.
Signal’s suit is primarily against Looking Glass Financial LLC, which was started by former Signal chief operating officer Farva Jafri, but the firm is also a defendant.
