Lands’ End Sheds Delta Workers’ Injury Claims Over Uniforms

Lands’ End Inc. shook off Delta Airlines employees’ personal injury claims tied to allegedly toxic uniforms, as a federal court in Wisconsin said they failed to offer admissible evidence that the garments were flawed or linked to their health problems.

The plaintiffs therefore can’t prove their claims, entitling Lands’ End to summary judgment, the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin said.

Gwyneth Gilbert and about 600 others alleged their uniforms leached dye onto clothing and personal property, and said chemicals in the fabric caused a host of issues including skin rashes, hair loss, and headaches.
