Land O’Lakes Worker’s Wage Class Action to Stay in Federal Court

A former Land O’Lakes Inc. employee failed in his bid to return his wage and hour claims against the company to California state court.

Land O’Lakes offered statistical data and reasonable calculations showing the amount in controversy is roughly $10.5 million, more than double the threshold under the federal Class Action Fairness Act, Judge Jennifer L. Thurston of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said in an Oct. 24 order.
