Laid-Off Gap Inc. Remote Employee Settles Lack of Notice Lawsuit

A former Gap Inc. employee has settled his proposed class action alleging the clothing retailer failed to provide remote workers like him advance notice ahead of a mass-layoff round.

Ian O’Reilly was a manager of supply chain operations who was allowed to relocate from Gap’s San Francisco headquarters to Montana during the Covid-19 pandemic.
