US District Judge David Carter fumed at Gibson Dunn attorneys during a Wednesday hearing in a case on the city’s homelessness crisis and refused to end until Los Angeles officials paid a court-appointed watchdog.
Carter is considering whether to hold the city in civil contempt over a pattern of delays and denials of data identified by Special Master Michele Martinez, who has written critical reports of the city’s homeless services spending.
