A Pennsylvania resident can continue with her suit against an LA Fitness club, holding it responsible for harassment that occurred on the gym’s premises.
Crystal Childs had a membership with LA Fitness when she says she was sexually harassed by a janitor in 2019—identified only as Ali—who was consequentially let go. Somehow, Ali returned in 2022, now sporting a membership and in the process of being rehired as a janitor until Childs told the staff about the prior alleged incident. A few days later, Childs claims, Ali accosted her in the gym.
