L.A. Doctor Sued Over Alleged Use of Stranger’s Sperm (Correct)

A Beverly Hills fertility doctor used a stranger’s sperm in a woman’s fertility procedure decades ago instead of her husband’s, according to an L.A. state court lawsuit, which says the clinic “habitually” used sperm from the stranger for decades.

The woman and her husband, identified as Jane and John Roe in the Thursday complaint, said they found out when their twin daughters took a DNA test this year.

Family research uncovered that the daughters aren’t related to their father but to a stranger whose sperm was linked to at least 16 half-siblings connected to the now-shuttered Los Angeles Fertility Institute, ...
