Kroger Workers Allege New Payroll System Shorted Them on Wages

Kroger stores in Virginia and West Virginia have failed to pay hourly employees all of they wages they’ve earned after switching to a new payroll system last year, workers say.

The grocery chain knows about the new system’s problems but hasn’t addressed them, “instead forcing employees to scramble when their proper wages do not arrive,” according to the proposed class and collective complaint four workers filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
