Kraft, Mac & Cheese Consumers End Suit Over Alleged Phthalates

Kraft Heinz Co. and consumers agreed to end a proposed class action allegating that deceptive packaging misled buyers into believing the company’s mac and cheese products were free from phthalates.

The parties filed a voluntary stipulation of dismissal March 8 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Attorneys for the plaintiffs and Kraft declined to comment on the dismissal.
