Kohler, Retirees Get Last Approval of $2.45 Million Pension Deal

Kohler Co. and a class of about 500 pension plan beneficiaries gained final approval of a $2.45 million class settlement to resolve claims that the Wisconsin-based company used outdated information to calculate pension benefits for plans that included their spouses.

“The final certification of the class and final approval of the class settlement is appropriate,” said Judge J.P. Stadtmueller in an order Thursday for the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, also dismissing the claims with prejudice.
