A women’s apparel company specializing in clothing for pregnant and nursing mothers is suing a rival for allegedly infringing its nursing bra patent.
Akerson Enterprises LLC—also known as Kindred Bravely—alleges Shenzhen Conglin E-Commerce Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Lute Innovations Technology Co. Ltd—also known as Smartlin and Momcozy, respectively—infringed two claims of its ‘491 patent for a nursing bra designed to make breastfeeding more comfortable, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
