Kelly Services Defeats Suit Over Teacher’s Ban by One District

A 60-year-old Black male Indianapolis-based substitute teacher lacked evidence Kelly Services Inc. engaged in job bias when it honored a request by one school district not to assign him there anymore, a federal judge ruled.

John George Hunt wasn’t banned from teaching at other school districts in the Indianapolis area, he just preferred teaching in Lawrence Township because it was where he lived, the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana said.
