Justices Skip Wynn Resorts Worker’s RICO Suit Over Rape Report

The US Supreme Court on Monday declined to review a Wynn Las Vegas employee’s suit alleging the company, former owner Steve Wynn, and others conspired to undermine her claim that she was wrongfully fired for reporting that Wynn raped another employee.

Angelica Limcaco sought to challenge the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit’s Jan. 11 ruling that she didn’t establish standing under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. The appeals court found that Limcaco failed to allege the related injury to property or a business needed to sue under the statute.
