Joint Juice Case Plaintiff’s Attorneys Awarded $7.9 Million

Attorneys who won a $12.9 million judgment in a false-ad class trial against Joint Juice maker Premier Nutrition Corp. have been awarded roughly $7.9 million in fees and litigation costs.

The US District Court for the Northern District of California on Monday allowed nearly the full amount the lawyers requested, rejecting the Post Holdings Inc. unit’s arguments that the fee should be cut significantly. The award will be added to the judgment.
