Johnson & Johnson is asking a Texas court to stop four investigations the state initiated immediately after the pharmaceutical company scored a courtroom victory in litigation involving Tylenol and claims the state brought that the pain medication is unsafe for pregnant women.
Johnson & Johnson says it has no obligation to produce voluminous documents in response to the state’s Civil Investigative Demand because only J&J subsidiaries sell or market the products in Texas that the state is investigating for deceptive trade practices.
