Johnson & Johnson Faces Class Action After PFAS, Bandages Report

A consumer watchdog’s recent report that found molecular indications that PFAS are in some bandages spurred a class action complaint against a health-care company and Johnson & Johnson.

Georgia resident Jo Aronstein asked the US District Court for the District of New Jersey on April 8 to allow her on behalf of other Band-Aid purchasers to bring a class action against Johnson & Johnson (J&J), Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., and Kenvue Inc., a health-care company that spun off from J&J in 2023 and manages Band-Aid® Brand Adhesive Bandages.
