Jewish UCLA Students Preserve Suit Against Pro-Palestine Protest

Jewish students and staff members at UCLA can move forward with claims they were harassed by pro-Palestinian protesters over Israel’s actions in Gaza, a federal court said.

Motions from National Students for Justice in Palestine and the People’s City Council to dismiss the Jewish plaintiffs’ claims failed in part because more than a “psychological consequence” of harassment was alleged, said Judge Mark C. Scarsi with the US District Court for the Central District of California on Tuesday.
