JetBlue Worker Fails to Remove Class Wage Suit to State Court

A California-based JetBlue employee lost her bid to remove her proposed wage and hour class action from federal court back to a state court.

JetBlue Airways Corp. provided sufficient evidence to show its calculations for the amount in controversy exceeded the threshold amount required under the Class Action Fairness Act to remain in a federal court, said Judge Otis D. Wright II of the US District Court for the Central District of California, denying Stephanie La Grow’s motion to remand the case back to a state superior court.
