Jackson Walker Lands Ex-Texas Supreme Court Chief Nathan Hecht

Jackson Walker LLP, a prestigious firm primarily in Texas, has hired former Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan Hecht as a partner in its Austin office, the firm announced Friday.

Hecht, who aged off the court in December, returns to private practice for the first time since 1981, when he began his judicial career as a trial court judge in Dallas. He had served on the Texas Supreme Court for 36 years before his retirement.
