J&J’s Neutrogena Factory Polluting Los Angeles Harbor, Suit Says

A Johnson & Johnson facility in Los Angeles that makes Neutrogena products failed to manage pollutants in its stormwater, contaminating a nearby body of water, a conservation group alleged in federal district court.

The operators of the Neutrogena facility didn’t implement practices for managing stormwater that abide by the facility’s permit and federal law, Los Angeles Waterkeeper alleged. The conservation group filed its complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California Monday.
