IVF Patients End Embryo Destruction Suits Over Recalled Solution

A group of anonymous in vitro fertilization patients agreed to settle their claims that recalled culture media made by CooperSurgical Inc. destroyed their embryos, ending their suit Tuesday.

Judge Jon S. Tigar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California dismissed the lawsuit in light of the parties’ earlier settlement notice.
